S3E6 | Traction - When to keep going and when to quit

This episode is all about traction. Traction in your business can come in many different forms. One of the best indicators that you are onto something is revenue. If you're looking for funding from a bank and/or investors, they will want to know how much your making. Cash flow is super important for a business. It can be the quickest way to see if your business is gaining momentum. You can build traction or track your progression on social media. This is especially helpful if you have a DTC business. Navigating social media and the digital world can be pivotal in the early stages. You'll see traction ramp up as your demographic continues to adopt your product, service, etc

. However you see traction, ensure you can track it. You need to be able to measure your success. As you scale, you're revenue will grow, but margins will shrink. You need to have people in place to analyze, digest, and inform you. . . Listen to the podcast on-the-go: https://spotifyanchor-web.app.link/e/gxSLuIa8Gxb . . . A Little About Me: I am an Indiana native who migrated down to Central Florida. I started my career in Corporate America, but wanted more for myself and my family. I quickly found success in Roofing, specially, Tile Roofs. I moved to Costa Rica for five years and continued my entrepreneurial journey there with Real Estate Development. Those five years taught me the ins and outs of clay tile and have been specializing in Tile for over 35 years! I came back to America and now sit on the board for the Florida Building Code for Roofing. I'm also a member of the Florida's Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA). As I continue with my roofing business, I thoroughly enjoy helping and mentoring other entrepreneurs, guiding them to success! . . Say hello with the links below!
