Plural & Possessive noun

Greetings everyone welcome to Maninthorn's podcast episode 2, Good to see you again. In today episode will be explaining about the differences of nouns.

But first, what is a noun? A noun is a word that refers to a person, place, things or actions. It is usually a single word, but not always depending on the sentence itself.

Like we’ve said there are many types of noun, but in this podcast we would be focusing on Plural and Possessive nouns only.

Plural noun shows a quantity of more than one.
Possessive noun shows ownership,

While Plural possessive noun incorporate both ownership and more than one.

An example of Plural noun would be “We were eating ice creams together.” This show that there are many ice creams.

An example of Possessive noun would be “This is Lisa’s ice cream, not your!” This show that Lisa is the owner of the ice cream.

An example of Plural possessive noun would be “We got Lisa’s ice cream cakes from the store.” This show both the owner of the ice cream cake which is Lisa and the amount of cake which is more than one.

So, we hope that you’ve learnt something from listening to this podcast. Thank you for listening and see you again next time.
