रिलायंस समूह की गत वर्ष खुदरा बाजार में रिलायंश फ्रेश नाम सुपर मार्केट दुकानों की श्रंखला की शुरुवात का छोटे दुकानदारों और खुदरा व्यावसाइयों ने जमकर विरोध किया। राँची एवं अन्य अनेक जगहों पर पथराव कर दुकानों को क्षतिग्रस्त किया गया। पॉडभारती ने इसी मुद्दे पर मीमांसा की, प्रयास किया कि सिक्के के दोनों पहलुओं पर नज़र डाली जाय। इस पॉडकास्ट में समाजवादी जनपरिषद पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता अफ़लातून और अर्थशास्त्री आलोक पुराणिक की राय ली गई। दोनों लोकप्रिय चिट्ठाकार भी हैं।

Reliance‘s foray into the retail market through “Reliance Fresh” chain of super markets faced a lot of initial opposition from small time businessmen and retailers.
