Maya Feller is the founder and lead dietitian at Maya Feller Nutrition, committed to promoting food equity and breaking down barriers to access for underrepresented communities. She shares her approachable, real food-based solutions with millions of people through speaking engagements, writing, social platforms, and as a national nutrition expert on Good Morning America. She serves on the advisory board for SHAPE and Parents and has appeared on the TODAY Show, Tamron Hall, The New York Times, mindbodygreen, and many more.

In this episode, Maya shares the inspiration behind her newest book, Eating from Our Roots: 80+ Healthy Home-Cooked Favorites from Cultures Around the World, where she showcases delicious and nutritious dishes from different cultures and emphasizes the importance of cultural food traditions.
