Episode 140: Pop A La Carte #140 - All Of Us Are Cars
Welcome to another Asian Drama Corner, where Angela, Camille and Tatiana kick things off with everyone's favorite topic: zombies! Starting at 0:38, projects discussed include the Korean dramas Happiness and All Of Us Are Dead, as well as the Filipino film Block Z.Then it's time for everyone's second favorite topic: not zombies, divided by country! We start with Thailand (44:15), for a rundown of Bad Buddy and director Backaof's other works, as well as a discussion about F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers. Next up is a mini-review of the fabulous Japanese film Drive My Car (1:00:10), which is nominated for Best Picture at this year's Oscars. After which it's Kdrama Round-Up (1:11:30), going from praising new shows like Twenty-Five, Twenty-One to chatting about recently ended shows like The Red Sleeve and The One and Only.Last but not least, the anime film Belle (1:34:00) gets dropped in, because it is a visual feast.
