When fairy tale creatures are banished to his swamp by the evil Lord Farquaad, Shrek embarks on a quest to get his home back. He teams up with Donkey, a talking donkey, to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon, whom Farquaad wants as his bride. 

This film is surprisingly adult in much of its humor and Eddie Murphy is not only a Donkey but also a GOAT.
