The men who crucified Jesus were completely ignorant of His divine nature and purpose. They had no idea of God's plan of salvation through the death and resurrection of His son. People's ignorance of sin will help us understand forgiveness. A man's ignorance does not excuse his sin, but it does help us to understand his sin.
