The defining characteristic of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21 is that the city is holy. God Himself is holy, and His call in 1 Peter 1:16 still stands: “Be holy, for I am holy.”
But how can believers practically be sanctified, purified, and transformed into God’s holiness? Holiness is not achieved through human effort, it is produced as you learn to live daily in the reality of the holy priesthood.
When you partake of Christ as your feasts and offerings, He becomes your holiness. This spiritual eating renews you, cleanses you, and qualifies you to enter and remain in the Most Holy Place, where you can walk in the Spirit, hear God’s speaking, and obey His will.
