This is the PrideON Podcast from the Civil Service LGBT+ Network.

Pride events in towns and cities across the UK have been put on hold this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but just because those events can’t take place, that doesn’t mean we can’t take pride in who we are. On this podcast, you’ll hear from inspiring LGBT+ civil servants and allies talking about their identities, experiences and work, and what pride means to them.

In this episode, John Peart speaks to Lucy Pedrick – a civil servant working at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and sometimes, also Sport. They talk about how celebrating Pride this year is different and hopefully more accessible, how to be a better ally, and how intersectionality changes people's experiences of LGBT+ spaces.
