Rippey chose the Blue Devils over NC State, Tennessee, Miami, and Texas, officially joining The Brotherhood alongside Cameron Williams, Bryson Howard, and Maxime Meyer as Duke pushes toward the top of the 2026 recruiting class rankings.

This summer, Rippey established himself as one of the premier point guards in his class, averaging 15.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, while shooting 38.1% from three with New Heights on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
