Among the wildest characters in recent Mob history is Gerard “Jerry” Chilli. A captain in the Bonanno crime family, Chilli was behind the murder of an undercover DEA agent that sparked the largest manhunt in U.S. history to find the killer. It was later made into a movie, “Dead and Alive,” starring Tony Danza. That was all before Chilli resettled in Hollywood, Florida to begin a new phase in his crime career.
