Perhaps, therefore, it isn’t surprising that there isn’t as much public discourse among #exlutheran folks as there is for those who describe themselves as #exvangelical. While exlutherans will have overlapping experiences with exvangelicals, there are some peculiarities Jeff and Stacie will be discussing about their own experiences. The show concludes with a discussion of two concepts from Dietrich Bonhoeffer that seem relevant as ever: the idea of “religionless Christianity” and “cheap grace.”
