Surangama Mantra 🙏

Surangama mantra or dharani is known as the king of all mantras in Chinese Mahayana Buddhism.

It has the power to defeat all evils (and all kinds of black magic etc.) For one who recites the surangama mantra, it can help eliminate all karmic obstacles. In additiion, for one who recites the Surangama mantra, it can help in attaining rebirth in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land at the end of life, as the mantra also contains Amitabha Buddha's name (and also enables one to freely choose to attain rebirth in other Pure Lands. However, we recommend Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land as always!)

It's of course much more complicated to recite the Surangama mantra. For Nianfo practitioners, one can simply recite Amituofo with faith and vow, as it's more than sufficient to attain rebirth in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land.

For those who have very good roots and have a keen mind to learn and with good memory, one can also study the Surangama mantra.
