Abby Boreen had the distinction of being the first player ever to play in the PWHL and win a Walter Cup (with Minnesota) and THEN enter the draft -- where she was selected by the Montreal Victoire. After spending the second season of the PWHL with the Victoire, she was snapped up by the expansion PWHL Vancouver.
