In the first ever episode of Queer World Podcast, host Logan meets Karen, the CEO of Casa Miga (Insta: @casamigalgbt), an LGBTQ+ refuge for queer youth in the city of Manaus, the capital city of the Amazona state in north Brazil. They discuss Karen's life before Casa Miga, the history of Casa Miga, the work it's doing now, politics in Brazil and more. The interview was recorded in-person in September 2022.
