Road to Cheltenham is BACK! State Man update and early antepost clues | Road To Cheltenham | Racing TV
We're back!
Road To Cheltenham is here again and we're at Prestbury Park ahead of the November Meeting to discuss some of the leading jumps stars that we can all look forward to over the months ahead.
State Man is one horse we'll not be seeing. however, as the former Champion Hurdler and 12-time Grade 1 winner has met with a season-ending injury. We reflect on his achievements but, more pertinently with regard to this season, how will trainer Willie Mullins shuffle his deck with all the top two-mile hurdles races in mind? Is it a given that Lossiemouth will deputise at Cheltenham in March? Lydia and Ruby have their say.
We delve a bit deeper in the two-mile chasing division with title-holder Marine Nationale set to make his return at Navan on Saturday, while Sir Gino - seen only just once last season and a horse feared never to make the track again after injury complications last spring - is also vying for favouritism currently for the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. What do our team make of that?
Other big names up for extended discussion include Galopin Des Champs, Fact To File, Jonbon and many more as we return for the new campaign in association with our sponsors, Paddy Power.
