The money that was supposed to go to the Dalit families allegedly went into the account of the BJP through bonds. The family has complained that a general manager of Welspun Enterprise Limited, a company associated with Adani, had advised the family to invest the 11 crores in electoral bonds. They had no idea into which scheme they were investing.
