In 2020, St. Louis Children’s Hospital began using aquapheresis therapy to care for babies with congenital or acquired renal disorders, one of few centers in the country to offer this advanced treatment.

Childhood obesity is a significant problem across our country, leading to serious long-term health issues for those at risk. According to the Centers for Disease Control, for children and adolescents aged 2 - 19 years, the prevalence of obesity was 18.5% and affected about 13.7 million children and adolescents.
