Members of Financial Advisory council, education professionals. But our longest serving members were more homespun. Though well educated, Theresa Beals is just that: a mom, who wants to make a difference. She is running against Carmine Forcina and incumbent Al Rowlett for the Area 7 seat. As our interview progressed, we found Beals to have a unique perspective. Her three children run the gamut of needs within the educational system, from a special needs child to GATE, or gifted and talented.
