學英文 EP101|初級|日本人用來吃甜點的第二個胃|Japanese people have a second stomach for sweets

🍰 「甜點有第二個肚子?」
日本有句超有趣的說法:「甜食有另一個肚子!」就算吃得再飽,看到蛋糕還是能再來一份。
📚 本集文法學習重點:
1️⃣ 情態助動詞(Modal Verbs: may / might)
例句:Even if someone is not hungry, they may still eat cake or ice cream.
2️⃣ 一、二音節形容詞的比較級與最高級(Comparative & Superlative Adjectives)
例句:In Japan, meals are smaller than in other countries.
📖 Story text:
In Japan, there is a funny saying: "Amai mono wa betsubara", which means "Sweets go into a different stomach." The word betsubara comes from betsu (separate) and bara (stomach). People say it when they are full from a meal but still want dessert. Even if someone is not hungry, they may still eat cake or ice cream. In Japan, meals are smaller than in other countries, so many people like to enjoy sweets after eating. This saying is popular, and many people talk about it online. It shows how language and food are connected in fun ways.
