Radon-222 is a byproduct of decayed Uranium. The products of radon - known as Radon Decay Products or RDPs - are highly carcinogenic. In fact, Lung cancer from Radon is the 3rd most deadly cancer. It is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer; the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. Testing for radon, no matter where you are or what type of home you have, is incredibly important. Here, we go over some basics of radon and how to go about doing your own testing.
