Ep. 86 Each time something comes up from your past, pray and ask the Lord to help you hand over those thoughts to Him. Ask the Lord to give you peace.
2 Corinthians 10:5, “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ”
Every time the enemy tries to throw our past in our face and bring it up, we can go straight to the Lord and ask Him to intervene and to give us healing. It’s not something we can do in our own strength. It comes as a result of continuously trusting in God and relying on Him and leaning on Him and His strength.
Remember: Guilt and shame are not from God. That is from satan. God will never cause you to feel guilt and shame. When we place our faith in Christ and receive salvation, He forgives us and He never throws our sin in our face!
