Mono Red mana bases are usually some of the simplest in Magic, but what if you wanted to spice things up? In the first part of this two part series, I go through the Mono Red Nonbasics and give my views on each one.

              What qualifies as a Mono Red Nonbasic for our purposes? Lands that specifically produce red mana and no other color, or that specifically use red mana and no other color (so no multi-color producing lands or multi-color abilities, and no only colorless mana lands).
