For many years, I honoured the traditions of my lineage as amainstream Reiki Master. Then I eventually couldn’t ignore what I felt any longer - that whisper that something wasn't quite right. The hierarchy. The gatekeeping. The implication that I needed someone else's permission to accesspower that was already mine. Or “give” someone else permission to access what was already theirs.
After 5 years of co-creating with my Spiritual team, I madea choice that fundamentally changed everything: I stopped using attunements. And what I discovered challenged everything I'd been taught about worthiness, authority, and what it actually means to be a sovereign practitioner.
