Why there's no such thing as a 'bad' dog - with Kim Brophey

In this episode, I chat with Kim Brophey about why we need to rethink our relationship with our dogs and move away from thinking of our dogs as pets and of ourselves as ‘dog owners’ but more like dog parents or carers.

We also chat about why it’s so important that we are more aware of how our emotions get in the way of our dogs' ability to learn and live happy lives.

Kim is an applied ethologist and professional Family Dog Mediator working to solve problems between people and dogs with modern science. If you’re wondering what an ethologist is, well they’re scientists who study the behaviour of animals in their natural environment.

Kim is a certified dog behaviour consultant and a certified dog trainer. She’s also an author of the must read book, Meet your Dog.

Kim is truly breaking the mould in the pet dog industry in order to facilitate a long overdue paradigm shift in our relationships with our dogs.
