This is the first episode of a new series where we discuss current healthcare policy in the United States with a good friend to both Dr. Schupper and I, Mr. Garrick Prokos. Garrick earned his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and his Masters in Public Policy from The University of Chicago. He is currently a Healthcare Policy Consultant working in the State Government sector, with expertise in Medicaid policy specifically. In this episode Garrick talks with Dr. Reilly about the ins and outs of the United States Healthcare System at a 30,000 foot view! This episode is for pre-med students all the way through to attending physicians and everyone in between. It is essential for us to learn more about how our healthcare system works!
