Self or selflessness: Putting Christ at the center
In second Corinthians chapter 5, verse 15 Paul writes: He died for us that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him who died for them. And yet, every day, every minute of every day, the self life pushes itself to the front and demands that we cater and serve the sinful self. We must resist this temptation to put self at the center and put our Lord Jesus Christ and his will and his joy and his praise, and his pleasure at the center of our lives.
