The Name of the Wind Pt. 3 with Sara Falk

Join us as we finish our review of the fantasy novel "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, published in 2007. We discuss World Building, Writing Style, and Use of Medium, while debating about the amount of metaphor usage, discussing crooked noses and perfect ears, and gushing over the writing.

Pre-Review: Preface & summary of book

Part 1: Discussing character

Part 2: Character, Plot, and World Building

Part 3: World Building, Writing Style, Use of Medium

Editor’s note:

Since recording, I've found out that there is a pronunciation guide available in the “deluxe special edition” version of the book, and several YouTube videos on the channel “The Eolian” where Rothfuss goes through some pronunciations, but it’s done as an FAQ so it's very hard to find specific pronunciations. I do stand by my 9.5, because I believe things like a pronunciation guide should be accessible to all readers ;)
