Getting married is one thing; staying married is another.  Let’s face it: marriage is hard.  It’s the union of two naturally sinful people with flaws coming together to do life and the will of God. There’s no doubt it requires intentionality, putting aside self and learning to love and understand the other person. Having God in the centre of any marriage can help but still requires both parties to make their marriage work.
