In this episode, which is a part of my series, ITALIAN CLASSIC MOVIE REVIEWS, we review THE NIGHT PORTER, which was Directed by Liliana Cavani and starred Dirk Bogarde and Charlitte Rampling!This film was highly controversial when it came out in 1974 and is still shocking to modern audiences.However, the film truly is more about world War II trauma and how the main characters are stuck in time as a result of what they experienced. Writer Samm Deighan and I dissect the film and discuss why the controversy is over blown.
