In conversation with Clive Sheard, a Master Mariner, qualified port tug master , pilot, harbour master  and marine surveyor. He holds a post graduate degree in Marketing Management, a Masters degree in Maritime Law and a PhD in Maritime Law - with 42 years of experience in shipping , 4 of which were as a commissioned officer in the military navy .

He is currently serving as a senior marine consultant for London Offshore Consultants in Perth Australia.
