S03E16: It's 2025, the Pope's from Chicago, and I'm here recommending Disciples: Liberation... a game I actually uninstalled after 14 hours. Yeah, it's complicated. 🫠
Join me for a not-quite-review, more like a public therapy session, where I explain why Disciples: Liberation is a genuinely WELL-MADE tactical RPG with a gritty story, fantastic characters (Avyanna & Orion are S-tier!), and "paper-rock-scissors roided up" combat... and why, despite all that, it just wasn't for ME.
Think Game of Thrones without the constant beheadings, where your moral compass spins like it's about to be abducted. If you love deep tactical army-building and deciphering 5D paper-rock-scissors shit in your RPGs, this one might be your new obsession.
This is my ode to a game I respect, even if we had to break up. It's not you, Disciples: Liberation, it's definitely me.
