Noel Ng is an independent singer-songwriter from Kuala Lumpur who enjoys writing songs about the mundane. Her voice has been described as a cup of warm ginger tea to soothe your senses. Rooted in folk, her music dances around old jazz, indie pop and good ol’ rock n’ roll. She spent her youth performing and competing in national interuniversity music competitions both in Malaysia and Taiwan, winning Gold as well as accolades such as Best Vocalist, Best Music Video, Best Arranger, and Best Performance. Active in the KL indie scene since 2017, she has participated in events such as 30-Hour Famine, Live In Levi’s 2018, TEDxAPU, Urbanscapes 2019, Top Glove Christmas Dinner, Hari Raya Open House at Istana Perlis, Volkswagen FEST 2022, Boleh! Music Festival 2022, Live Space Jam Episode 5, and many other charity, campus and corporate events. In 2022, her band - Noel & Her Feathers opened for local indie artists such as The Impatient Sisters, Soft Soft Pillow and Eiva Lim. Be it as a full band or a solo act, she wishes to transport you to a soft and dreamy soundscape with her music.
