New episode drop for “Rooted in the Word of God.”
In this episode, we walk through the closing section of Acts 28 and the theme that runs under every verse: the gospel does not stop. Paul is confined, chained, limited in every earthly way, yet the Word of God continues to go out “with all boldness and without hindrance.” The book of Acts seems to end abruptly on the page, but in reality, the story of the gospel keeps moving forward—through Paul, through the early church, through persecution, and through history itself.
We look at how the gospel confronted hard hearts, how some believed and some rejected, and how that same living Word still cuts to the heart today. We also connect this with real-life testimony, showing that even a brief encounter with the truth of Christ can completely change a person’s direction. The gospel tears down strongholds, confronts sin, and rebuilds people from the inside out.
This episode is about confidence in the power of the gospel; confidence that God’s Word will not return empty; confidence that Jesus is still changing hearts, no matter how dark the circumstances or how hard the ground may look.
