I Let Jesus Do The Leading

Episode 3 with my dear friend @wonderfully_maddie

Welcome back to Run For The Hills

Before we dive into this episode, I just want to take a moment to share something personal. We’re recording today on my family’s land here in Oklahoma — the land my Nana, Papa, and my dad worked so hard on. It’s been in our family for generations, and now, with them gone, it’s sadly being sold.

I wanted to film here one last time, in memory of them. This place holds so many memories — I grew up running through these fields as a kid, and later, ran miles here as an adult. It’s more than land to me; it’s home. Honestly, I almost cried several times while recording — it’s that special. I owe everything to my grandparents and to Jesus. This land, this moment, is for them.”

In Episode 3, we’re diving into an incredible conversation you won’t want to miss. We’re talking all about life on the set of The Summer I Turned Pretty, with behind-the-scenes stories that give you a real glimpse of what it’s like being part of something so iconic.

But that’s not all—our guest, Maddi, opens up about her powerful walk with Jesus, how faith led her to meeting her husband, and the heart behind her booming businesses @wonderfully_maddie & @shootingstarrsocial in Tulsa. It’s a conversation full of inspiration, purpose, and a few surprises along the way. Let’s get into it
