FINALLY! Kings basketball is back as they took the court for their 1st preseason game. Aannnnddd ... it wasn't the prettiest.

The good: the process seems to be good on offense, plenty of ball movement and good ideas but just unable to fully come to fruition just yet with buckets. The rookies look very promising and played with great energy.

The bad: Kings defense gave up 20 made 3s to what will likely be a mediocre 3 point shooting team. While the plan to overload the paint isn't the worst idea, the Kings cannot keep leaving shooters open the way they do and just pray they miss.

Not the ideal start for the Kings but they will have more preseason games to hammer these things out and hopefully they be locked in and ready to go by the first regular season game.
