In this episode of Sacred Work in Progress, Bonnie welcomes visual artist Pia Dugger for a heartfelt conversation about creativity, motherhood, and finding her way back to painting after putting it aside for a season of life. Pia shares how her background in design and her time working outside the arts shaped her perspective, and how returning to her practice became a source of healing and renewal.
Together they explore what it means to balance a love of technology with a deep connection to nature, how authenticity shows up in the creative process, and why the story behind a piece can be just as powerful as the work itself. Pia also opens up about painting alongside her children, building structure into her studio practice, and the joy of preparing for her upcoming solo exhibition.
