Art are the valves that can air our feelings - Meet Bashar Hanna
Bashar joins host Sara and Western Sydney MRC on our new venture of the discovery of Western Sydney and its rich diversity through storytelling and the amazing world of podcasts. In this episode, Bashar shares his time living and working in Iraq, a country that he loved dearly, to then having to leave and his time rebuilding his life in Australia.
His love and respect of art, culture and language are evident in all that he undertakes. Bashar believes that music and art allow us to connect with the world and one another, and are a method for promoting wellness, a sense of self-expression and healing.
We are thankful to have Bashar as part of our community, and his perseverance to connect, support and relieve the lives of those living with trauma is aspirational.
