Welcome to my first episode on the Sarai Talk Show. This week I have special guest Hillel Neuer on to talk about the amazing work he is doing in the United Nations. Hillel is a Canadian-born international lawyer, writer, and the Executive Director of UN Watch, a human rights NGO and UN watchdog group based in Geneva, Switzerland. He was selected as one of the "top 100 most influential Jewish people in the world" by the Israeli newspaper Maariv, and by the Algemeiner Journal in 2017. He is an outspoken defender of Israel and critic of the UN's human rights councils' actions. Recently, he ran a successful campaign to expel the Islamic Republic of Iran from the UN Women’s Rights Commission.
