In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Curtis, who recounts a life-changing encounter that took place in 1983 near Yreka, California — not far from the legendary Bluff Creek, where the Patterson-Gimlin film was captured.
Curtis, his twin brother, sister, and several family members witnessed three juvenile Sasquatch watching them play at a school in the Klamath National Forest. The creatures climbed the fence, moved with agility, and appeared to be studying the children with intelligent curiosity. Curtis could make out the fur, the movement, and the human-like form of these beings.
The encounter left a deep mark on everyone present. Curtis remembers trembling, crying, and trying to process what he had seen. He believes the Sasquatch were drawn to them because of their youth — a reflection of their own juvenile curiosity.
