Shellena Heber is the Executive Director of the Valley Center for the Blind, serving Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Kern Counties. VCB supports, trains, and employs people who are blind or have low vision.
As a member of local, state, and national coalitions that support and advocate for people with disabilities, Shellena participates in opportunities that help providers like VCB continue to grow and serve the communities that need their services.
Since Shellena began to serve as VCB's Executive Director, VCB has increased its capacity to support local businesses by providing qualified candidates, website accessibility services, and navigating accommodations for employees who are blind or have low vision.
With her leadership and our community's support, VCB can continue to expand and ensure everyone with a visual impairment can reach their goals.
