Jake's Cranberry Sauce Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 4 c. fresh cranberries
- Optional Pecans, orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg (highly recommend)
- Rinse cranberries in one of those bowls with the holes in it
- Boil water with sugar: put the water and sugar in a saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil. Watch it dissolve like your patience at a thanksgiving dinner.
- Add cranberries, cook until they burst: Add them to the pot and return to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 min or until your grandmother tells you to get out of the kitchen.
- Stir in mix-ins: Orange zest, cinnamon, pecans, nutmeg – if you're not using these ingredients you probably don't properly season your food either... but, that's none of my concern.
Put it on anything you want. Eat until you're ready to take a nap. Remember to kiss your sleep paralysis demon goodnight.
