Leila obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Tehran and then earned her PhD in Biosystem/Biological Engineering from MIT. Dr. Pirhaji published her paper in the prestigious Nature journal in 2016. After her PhD, based on her research in Computational Biology, she founded ReviveMed. Leila is one of the most prominent and pioneering researchers in the application of artificial intelligence in modeling metabolites for treating incurable diseases. In 2020, Leila was recognized by MIT as the top innovator under 35.
