OSAC & Private Sector Security

James Weston, the Deputy Director of OSAC, the US State Department Overseas Security Advisory Council talks to us about the value of this public-private partnership.  US organizations - corporations, non-governmental and faith-based group and academia - operating internationally can derive tremendous value from the resources, networking and benchmarking provided and facilitated by OSAC.  James tells us about the history and evolution of OSAC, its strategic partnership with ASIS International, the role of industry sector committees, geographically-focused committees and country chapters.  We learn about the vaunted OSAC Annual Briefing that occurs each November as well as multiple smaller events around the US and around the world.
