Show #27 - Honoring Nigel, Dr. Dionne Bates and Shawn J. Moore

On this show I have two conversations. Following the suicide of 15-year-old Nigel Shelby, I was heartbroken. I invited Dr. D. Dionne Bates to the show. Dr. Bates and I discuss ways that we can recognize when our loved ones need us, and she offers tips to individuals listening to the show who are having challenges.

For my second conversation I chat with Shawn J. Moore. During that discussion Shawn and I discuss his history growing up as the youngest of four boys in Baltimore, and his podcast The Mindful Rebel.
