Self discovery should be an important goal for everyone. Some people go through life playing a role to mask who they really are. Others simply become what others want them to be. “Know thyself” is a classic platitude that continues to offer a valuable reminder today. It is only through the discovery of self that we can identify our purpose and actualize our potential. On the other hand, failure to embark on a pilgrimage of self discovery will cheat us of the opportunity to understand who we are and what we want out of life, as well as how we can help others during our time on this earth.

OUR PROBLEM WITH COMMITMENT - (Part 1) By Author - Motivational Speaker: Natukwasa Lindon

Most people claim to understand the importance of commitment in order  to attain a better life, but in fact, approximately 80 percent of  people never practice commitment for themselves. This is especially prevalent  among people who are not involved in some sort of business, dreams, talent, or  entrepreneurial endeavor that promotes commitment.

Even more surprising, of the 20 percent of the population that does set  goals, roughly 70 percent fail to achieve the goals they have set for  themselves. And when you take into consideration the fact that many of  these goal-setting people strive for easily attainable, small goals,  it is a wonder that anyone accomplishes anything remarkable at all in  business and in life.

When it comes to commitment, there are two categories: “be” committed and “stay”  committed. In other words, who do you want to be or what do you want to  achieve? Within each category, there are four areas of goals: wealth,  health, relationships and self-fulfillment. So any goal you set for  yourself will fall into one of these areas.

That is why I will be sharing in this episode why we fail to commit and later in part 2; I will be sharing more how people have failed improve and develop stunning commitment to achieve their goals! But still in part 3, I will be sharing on how we can develop stunning commitment to achieve our GOALS! DREAMS ARE WORTH - MORE!
