Friedensgebete – Om Purnamadah Purnamidam mit Lalita
Das Om Purnamadah Purnamidam als Teil der Friedensgebete lautet:

Es wird von Lalita und der Kinderyogaübungsleiterausbildung-Gruppe gesungen und musikalisch untermalt mit einer dynamischen Begleitung zum Mitmachen. Dieses Shanti Mantra ist ein Veda Mantra, eine der bedeutendsten und bekanntesten Strophen aus den Veden. Purna bedeutet Fülle, Vollendung, Unendlichkeit. So wird in diesem Veda Mantra die Fülle, die Unendlichkeit, die Einheit der Schöpfung besungen. Hier findest du im Yoga Vidya Kirtanheft ebenso den Text zum Kirtan. „Om Purnamadah“ kann man als einzelnes Mantra singen, man kann es zu Beginn der Meditation singen, um in einen meditativen Zustand zu kommen, man kann es am Ende der Meditation singen und man kann es auch am Anfang oder Ende einer Yogastunde oder eines Vortrages rezitieren. Bei Yoga Vidya rezitieren wir es eben jeden Morgen und Abend in den Yoga Vidya Ashrams am Ende des Satsangs.
