
Susun S. Weed is a pioneering herbalist and longtime advocate for women’s health. Her six bestselling books and decades of teaching have reached millions, and her work has been featured on NPR, NBC, and in peer-reviewed journals. She began studying herbal medicine in 1965 and focuses on folkloric herbalism, ethnobotany, women’s spirituality, and the role of plants in healing.
