Nothing prepared me for all that would happen at the end of summer 1988. If anyone would have told me that the new school year 1988/1989 would have taken me to two continents, I would have laughed out loud.
Better yet, if anyone had told me that my next school year would see me attending Manuel de Cabanyes in Villanova i la Geltru, I would be rendered speechless.Such was the outcome of what was shaping up to being the best and the worse times of my adolescent life.
