Juanita was made blind as a result of child abuse, now, she's set up Foster Hope Otago, which is a 100% volunteer-based charity that provides backpacks filled with essential items to children as they enter the foster care system.

We caught up with Juanita to discuss the importance of shining a light on domestic violence and child abuse in the hope that it makes others stop and think about the potential permanence of their actions.
